Dealers’ Choice Awards

(August 2014) Ally’s Auto Finance and SmartAuction businesses received top honors in Auto Dealer Monthly magazine’s Dealers’ Choice Awards. The annual program recognizes the industry’s best product and service providers as selected by dealers and dealership personnel. Providers were scored on the product or service itself, customer support and service, value, and whether they would recommend the company to another dealer.

(December 2014) Ally Bank named “Best Online Bank” for having “no minimum balance or monthly fees” on its checking and savings accounts.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte: Corporate Sponsor of the Year

(December 2014) Ally was named the 2014 Corporate Sponsor of the year by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte in recognition of the continued employee volunteerism and support from the company. (November 2014) Ally Bank was named “Best Online Bank” for 4th consecutive year by MONEY® Magazine. The publication also recognized Ally Interest Checking for "Best Standalone Account" in its annual “Best Banks” issue.

(October 2014) Ally received a 2014 Impact Award from Bright Blessings, in recognition of Charlotte-based employees’ support in aiding transient homeless students across Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Bright Blessings operates numerous programs and projects which aid thousands of homeless children in the Greater Charlotte, N.C. area.

Vista Maria 2014 Outstanding Corporate Partner

(June 2014) Ally was named the 2014 Outstanding Corporate Partner by Vista Maria in recognition of the continued employee volunteerism and support from the company. Vista Maria is an organization created with the mission to heal Michigan's victimized girls and women with best-practice treatment programs designed to meet their unique needs while serving other vulnerable children and families within Southeast Michigan.

Detroit Area Agency on Aging William Ellington Award

(May 2014) Ally received the William Ellington Award from the Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) for its commitment to providing financial education to older workers in the DAAA senior service employment program. DAAA is an organization created with the mission to educate, advocate and promote healthy aging to enable people to make choices about home and community-based services and long term care.

(April 2014) For the second consecutive year, Ally Bank has received the TNS Choice Award for Direct Banking. The TNS Choice Awards recognize banks and other financial service providers that outperform their competitors in acquiring, retaining and developing customers.

(April 2014) For the second consecutive year, Ally Bank earned the top rating in The Pew Charitable Trusts’ study "Checks and Balances: Measuring Checking Accounts’ Safety and Transparency." Ally Bank was the only financial institution of those studied to meet all of Pew’s best and good practice criteria.
