Ally Bank named Best Internet Bank by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance
(July) Ally Bank, Member FDIC, was named Best Internet Bank for 2019 by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance for the third consecutive year. The publication noted customers can earn interest on their accounts without maintaining a particular balance or paying monthly maintenance fees. In addition to a variety of savings products, customers won’t pay a fee to withdraw cash from any Allpoint ATM in the U.S. and will be reimbursed up to $10 per month for fees charged by other ATMs. Customers have a “multitude of ways to move money into and out of accounts at no cost, including expedited transfers, remote check deposits and the peer-to-peer payment system Zelle,” the outlet pointed out. Kiplinger’s also praised Ally’s award-winning customer care as it’s available 24/7 by phone and online chat as well as through the bank’s @AllyCare Twitter account on weekdays.
